The legal value of electronic mail

The e-mail has become the most widely used electronic communication tool for the exchange of communications. E-mail is a means of communication in written form via the Internet. The main advantage is the immediacy of e-mail.
The Certified E-Mail (PEC) is an e-mail system where electronic documentation is provided to the sender with legally valid, certifying the sending and delivery of electronic documents. "Certify" the sending and receiving means to provide the sender from your email client, a receipt which is legal proof of delivery of the message and any accompanying documentation. Similarly, when the message reaches the recipient, the operator sends the sender the receipt of completed (or no) delivery with precise time indication. In the case in which the sender loses the receipt, the electronic trace of the operations performed, preserved by law for a period of 30 months, allowing the playback, with the same legal value, receipts themselves.

certified e-mail messages, therefore, have the same status as a registered letter with acknowledgment of receipt if the sender and recipient use a PEC box.

many already use the PEC?! Those who would use it?!
